Annual Orchid Auction

was held at the general meeting on Monday April 22nd at the Gordon Head United Church Hall.

There were 103 orchids on the auction block and many people went home with great bargains.  Patrick, our auctioneer, kept the plants moving, providing culture information for each plant.  Joe, our projectionist showed the blooms associated with each plant as it went up for sale.  An exciting evening!

This sale was open to the public

It was an opportunity to select orchids from a wide range of species that are not available in local stores and many orchids found new homes..

The plants that were sold at this year’s auction are listed HERE .  Check out the variety and put next year’s auction date on your calender.  It will be on the April 27th, 2020.  The plant list will go up a week or so before the day of the auction.
