CVIOS Show AOS Results

The Central Vancouver Island Orchid Society’s Annual Show and Sale was a great event with beautiful plants everywhere. A couple of these were exceptional, and were granted AOS awards after their submission for judging.
The beautiful Dendrobium Nora Tokunaga ‘Paramount’s Valerie & Gabychat’ (Dendrobium atroviolaceum x Dendrobium rhodostictum) is shown above. It was exhibited by Paramount Orchids, and received a highly commended certificate (HCC/AOS).
Masdevallia wendlandiana ‘Thanks Chuck…’, exhibited by Alexey Tretyakov, is pictured on the right. It received a certificate of cultural merit (CCM/AOS).
Finally, the Show Trophy went to ‘Orchids from Afar’, exhibited by the Central Vancouver Island Orchid Society, pictured below.
